If I had an ounce of creativity left in my drained body I would go into great detail about my recent trip to Fayetteville, Arkansas during their Mardi Gras celebration. I’d describe the 200 foot King Cake that spanned a city block, and the bustling basement restaurant where we ate catfish po’boys. I’d boast about the location of the hotel, which I secure on Priceline for $70, and give you a run down of the good and the bad of that particular hotel.
And if I had even an inkling of motivation, I’d describe the current hotel where I write from. I’d tell you about the big plush bed with pillows a’plenty and the beautiful bathroom with marble countertops. Then I’d point out how I landed this particular hotel on Priceline for $37.
For a while, I think that I will be posting some of these great travel spots and deals that I’ve been able to score with the help of Priceline. After all just this year alone I’ve been to Hawaii, Illinois, and Arkansas with trips to Tampa, Orlando, The Florida Keys, New York, Chicago, and possibly a tour of Scotland and Ireland in the mix. I’ve been in at least five different rental cars in the past few months, five different hotels, and countless restaurants.
I’m not a critic, nor do I claim to be. I’m just a traveling woman eager to share with the world.
